PC’s which have switch accessible control software* installed can be remotely operated by an environmental control unit via the PIRL (Possum Infra-Red Link).

The PIRL is small, lightweight and there are two versions, either powered from a computer USB port or, for those requiring more mobility, powered from the integral batteries.

The PIRL enables simple remote wireless access and control of communication aids and computers. Users can remotely operate compatible pieces of assistive technology with just one single switch.
